Wegmans Markets made its Hampton Roads, VA debut April 28, opening a 113,000 square-foot store in Virginia Beach. Welcoming shoppers to the company’s 99th store overall and its 12th in Virginia, are Wegmans’ (l-r) regional manager for Virginia Blaine Forkell, store manager Mike Coyle, president and CEO Colleen Wegman and chairman Danny Wegman. Maryland Food Bank (MFB) recently commemorated its 40-year anniversary with a community HEART — Healthy Eats Are Really Tasty — Market at City of Refuge, one of MFB’s most dedicated network partners. To mark this milestone anniversary, Giant Food presented a check for a Lead Gift of $250,000 which will expand their support for the food bank this year.
