From May 1 to July 28, the company will operate the pop-up store where customer can buy not only Dietz & Watson’s signature meat and cheese products, but also deli-inspired fashion. From a “Hot Dog Life” t-shirt and vintage lunch boxes to custom hot dog bathing suits and Dietz Nuts boxers, most of the items will be available in the store and online. These family members in attendance at the premier party are (l-r) Steve Yingling, Chris Yingling, Cindy Eni Yingling, Kate Yingling, Louis Eni Jr., Nina Eni, Mary Flick and Lauren Eni. Fairway Market Fresh (FWM Fresh) has stepped up its efforts to supply independent operators in the Metro New York/New Jersey market with a full offering of high quality perimeter-of-the-store items. Working out of a state-of-the-art 225,000 square foot facility in the Bronx, FWM Fresh currently offers cut and processed fruit and vegetables, prepared foods, grab 'n go items, sandwiches and a full-service made-from-scratch bakery. Soon to be available will be cut-cheese programs, olive bars and select grocery items. Late last month, Burns Family Supermarkets presented a $10,000 check to the American Red Cross from donations collected during its seventh annual Red Cross Month fundraiser at nine Fresh Grocer and ShopRite stores the Burns family operates.
