Safeway Foundation and the nonprofit Preston’s March for Energy recently presented an adaptive bicycle to 11-year-old Aalonna Fischer from Baltimore. Funding for the adaptive bike, designed specifically for Aalonna, was provided by a grant from Safeway Foundation. Joining Aalonna (front) at the bike presentation, held at the Canton Safeway in Baltimore, were (l-r) Aalonna’s sister and mother, Breanna Coupling and Candice Fischer, and Safeway’s Rick Costello, Cliff Williford and Paul Harricharan.
