GIANT and MARTIN’S shoppers can redeem 400 CHOICE points for a free Thanksgiving turkey or alternative holiday entrée through Nov. 26.

The GIANT Company is bringing back its free turkey rewards program for Thanksgiving, allowing GIANT and MARTIN’S customers to redeem loyalty points for a holiday turkey or alternative entrée.

The promotion runs from Nov. 6 through Nov. 26 at GIANT and MARTIN’S stores and online. Customers with a GIANT or MARTIN’S loyalty card can redeem 400 CHOICE points for a free frozen turkey weighing up to 20 pounds.

Eligible turkey brands include Shady Brook Farms, Northern Pride, Jennie-O and Honeysuckle White.

Customers can also apply their rewards toward $1 per pound off another turkey weighing up to 20 pounds or select ham products weighing up to 14 pounds. Alternative free selections include a 40-ounce Tofurky Roast or a Stouffer’s party-size entrée ranging from 51 to 96 ounces.

“We know families are looking for ways to get more value from every grocery trip, especially during the holiday season,” said Rebecca Lupfer, chief merchant of The GIANT Company. “That’s why we’re bringing back our Choice Rewards free turkey program and pairing it with everyday low prices throughout the store.”

Customers can activate and redeem their rewards in stores or online. Current CHOICE point balances are available at the bottom of store receipts or through the GIANT and MARTIN’S mobile apps.

The promotion is limited to one offer per household and requires a store loyalty card. Customers must redeem their points for a paper coupon or digital offer by Nov. 26.

As part of the program, shoppers can also donate their free turkey certificates to local food banks at store registers, supporting holiday food assistance efforts in the communities served by GIANT and MARTIN’S.

The promotion comes as supermarkets compete for Thanksgiving shopping trips through loyalty rewards, seasonal discounts and holiday meal promotions.

All GIANT and MARTIN’S supermarkets will remain open on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26, until 3 p.m. Store pharmacies will be closed.

The GIANT Company, an Ahold Delhaize USA business, operates nearly 200 supermarkets across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia under the GIANT and MARTIN’S banners. The Carlisle-based retailer employs more than 35,000 associates and also operates online grocery services, pharmacies and fuel stations.

Additional details about the promotion, eligibility requirements and donation options are available at GIANT’s free turkey program page.
