The Giant Company has named Will Regan chief financial officer. In his new role, Regan will have responsibility for all finance functions as well as real estate, reporting directly to The Giant Company’s president, John Ruane
“With nearly two decades of experience, Will is a proven leader with a track record of providing actionable financial guidance and expertise,” said Ruane. “With his deep understanding of our business and strong partnerships across the company, I know he’ll continue to be a valuable resource as we work to deliver our strategy, drive results and position The Giant Company for long-term growth.”
Regan began his career ​in 2005 as an accountant and has since served in a variety of roles across the Ahold Delhaize USA family of companies. He joined The Carlisle, PA based division of the company in 2018 as director of commercial finance and was named to his most recent position, director of commercial finance and profitability, in 2022.
Regan currently serves on the board of directors of the Carlisle Chamber of Commerce and serves as chair of its EPIC, a networking and leadership development group for young professionals.​ In 2022, Regan was recognized with the GenNext Award from Progressive Grocer.​ He earned his MBA from Lebanon Valley College, his bachelor’s degree in business management and information systems from the University of Pittsburgh and has completed the Cornell Food Executive Program.
Weis Markets has also announced several promotions.
Doug Becker, director of meat merchandising, has been named vice president of fresh merchandising Becker has more than 40 years of store-level and merchandising management experience. In addition to meat, he now oversees the company’s produce, deli/food service, bakery, seafood and floral departments. He reports to Bob Gleeson, senior vice president of merchandising and marketing.
Angela Charnosky, senior director of enterprise services has been named vice president of enterprise services. Charnosky, who joined the company in 2021, has more than 20 years of experience in multiple information technology positions. She oversees the Sunbury, PA-based retailer’s program management, business systems analysis, quality assurance, and enterprise architecture teams. She continues to report to Greg Zeh, senior vice president and chief information officer.
Autumn Wolfe, director of tax, accounts receivable, real estate and treasury, was recently promoted to senior director of accounting, tax, and treasury. She joined the company in 2018 as senior manager of tax and profit improvement and was promoted to her most recent role in 2020. She continues to report to Jen Rogers, vice president and controller.
Candi Thomas was recently promoted to director of program management. She oversees the company’s information technology (IT) project managers and the IT change management. She has more than 20 years of experience in progressive leadership roles. She recently completed her MA in professional studies for organizational development and change at Penn State University. She continues to report to Charnosky.
Valerie Seipp was recently promoted to director of financial analytics, budgeting and external reporting. She joined the company as a staff accountant in 2013 and subsequently advanced to positions of increasing leadership responsibility. Prior to her promotion, she worked as senior manager of budgeting and analytics. She will continue to report to Rogers.
