Vuono Promoted to EVP at RDD Associates, Yacovelli Joins JOH as Business Manager

RDD Associates recently announced the promotion of Chris Vuono to EVP, chief client services officer (EP/CCSO).

Vuono joined RDD in 2019 and previously served as director of business development, VP of fresh foods, and, most recently, VP and senior director of client services. Prior to joining RDD, he served as senior director of sales and customer development at a leading national sales agency. He also spent 21 years at Wakefern, progressing through a variety of procurement departments and category manager roles, including perishables assignments in deli/dairy, produce and meat.

In his new role at RDD, Vuono will serve as a senior operating executive working closely with the company’s president and CEO and the leadership team to advance the cmpany’s strategic vision and strengthen execution of key initiatives that support long-term growth and performance.  

In making the announcement, RDD said: “RDD’s VP, senior client service director will report to Chris, and he will collaborate with the broader executive leadership team on a revenue planning, financial management, talent development, and continued activation of RDD’s Strategic Plan. This appointment also marks an important step in RDD’s leadership succession strategy, with the scope of the EVP/CCSO role expanding as the company continues to grow.”

JOH recently announced that Jennifer Yacovelli has joined the company as a business manager in the center store division, metro region.

Yacovelli brings nearly 10 years of experience in the CPG industry. She began her career as a vendor analyst, where she developed and maintained strong relationships with clients and customers, including creating and updating contracts and promotions within a major Northeast retail cooperative’s system. Most recently, she served as a business manager at a national sales and marketing agency, where she was responsible for developing strategic account plans, analyzing sales data, and ensuring best-in-class in-store execution.
