Cook Named Sr. VP of Own Brands at ADUSA

Abby Cook has been named senior vice president of own brands for Ahold Delhaize USA, reporting to Keith Nicks, chief commercial and digital officer, Ahold Delhaize USA. In her new role, Cook will oversee and deliver Ahold Delhaize USA’s own brand portfolio and position it for the next phase of growth. 

Since 2023, Cook has served as the vice president of U.S. strategy and portfolio, where she was responsible for establishing and supporting the strategic priorities from development through execution,  including leading the strategy development of the own brands portfolio. Her experience with our organization, strong leadership and vision will be key as we continue to evolve and deliver high-quality own brand products at a value customers depend on.

Previously Cook served as the director of commercial strategy for Peapod Digital Labs, where she led strategy development to activate U.S. growth plans, as well as defined the overarching omnichannel commercial strategy in partnership with key stakeholders. Additionally, she has led significant cross-functional initiatives, including competitive intelligence and extended business reviews (EBRs), as well as positioned the U.S. businesses successfully during investor meetings.

Prior to joining Ahold Delhaize USA, Cook was a project leader at Boston Consulting Group, where she focused primarily on retail and consumer industries, and before that was a senior project manager at CashStar, a gift card and digital promotion start-up that was acquired by Blackhawk Network in 2017.

Cook holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University.
